Program Features & Holistic Services
Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention & Stress Reduction
“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our freedom and growth.” - Victor Frankel
MBRP is an eight-week group-based treatment approach developed at the University of Washington for individuals in recovery from addictive behaviors which utilizes evidenced based cognitive and behavior strategies. MBRP practices are intended to foster increased awareness of triggers, destructive habitual patterns, and “automatic” reactions that seem to control many of our lives.
The mindfulness practices in MBRP are designed to help us pause, observe present experience, and bring awareness to the range of choices before each of us in every moment. Clients begin to change their relationship to discomfort, learning to recognize and increase their capacity for challenging emotional and physical experiences, responding to them skillfully, in ways that serve them, rather than reactively, in ways that are detrimental to their health and happiness.
Take charge of how you feel
HeartMath
”It is only with the Heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
HeartMath is a comprehensive, cutting edge, scientifically validated system that empowers individuals to develop greater emotional wellbeing. Through the practice and application of HeartMath techniques clients learn to identify depleting emotions and attitudes commonly referred to as stress and replace them with ones that facilitate renewal , emotional composure and clear thinking.
With increasing practice clients develop greater capacity to regulate their emotions and take charge of how they feel.

Daily Sundo Practice
“One practice is worth a thousand times reading.” - Hyunmoon Kim
Sundo is an ancient healing art from Korea that focuses on self-integration, harmonization, and self-development. Sundo is a Taoist form of yoga that is comprised of stretching exercises, self-massage, Ki gong, meridian exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation.
The practice flows in a gentle and loving way and works to strengthen and bring well being to our physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual selves. Sundo is also particularly effective at training one to activate the parasympathetic nervous system or relaxation response within the body.
Relieve stress & release tension
Acupuncture
Acupuncture improves the body's functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites--commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints. The most common method used to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin.
heal your inner wounds
Inner Child, Inner Voice
Our Inner Child refers to the vulnerable parts of ourselves that carry unexpressed emotions, needs and traumas from our childhoods.
These buried hurts can show up in adults as depression, anxiety, addiction, and difficulty in relationships. Through creative expression and sharing of experiences clients give voice to their Inner Child to uncover deep unmet needs and learn how to meet those needs as adults. They rediscover creativity and spontaneity left behind in childhood, learning how to genuinely love their true selves and have authentic relationships with others..

Healing Through Creativity
Healing through Creativity is a 12-week program that takes participants on a guided healing journey of reconnecting to art and creativity as a healing force in their life.
This process supports participants to explore their creativity and channel that energy towards healing. We explore a variety of creative modalities, including drawing, painting, collage, altar arts, sound healing and music, writing, and movement - for the purpose of helping our clients to reconnect to their authentic creative nature and a sense of inspired agency in their recovery.
The healing power of Nature
Eco-Therapy
Our clients engage in the healing power of nature during our Eco-Therapy groups.
Clients take part in therapeutic activities outdoors to create conscious connections with the natural world in support of their growth and recovery. Human disconnect from our environments can exacerbate stress, anxiety, depression, and many other health challenges. Ecotherapy can assist people in addressing and alleviating depression, decreasing stress & anxiety levels, diminishing mental and emotional fatigue, and fostering a true relationship between mind and body.
